Yes, Queer Black Cinema film series is finally going on the road! Since the beginning, people have always appreciated QBC. We were always asked, “when are you coming to my state? How can I contact the filmmaker? Where can I see these films if I do not live in New York?” Can you come to my school? We are on our way! The tour kicks off October 2007.

In the past, we have screened at Pride events locally and out of state. Most recently, we screened at Newark Pride and are now the official film curator. Other collaborations included, Imagination Film Festival and Brooklyn Pride along with our regular monthly screenings and special events.

This year we decided to add another great program to QBC repertoire, QBC College Tour. QBC is very interested in “edutainment”- education and entertainment. Our goal for the tour is to promote Black independent filmmakers and their films to a diverse group of educational institutions and their students who may not have had the opportunity to be exposed and enlighten about Black LGBT stories. Now you will have an opportunity to bring QBC to a college near you! Just follow the steps below to make it happen.

STEPS to Joining the tour:

1. the Rules & Regulations carefully.

2. Request a “QBC College Tour” Form and email it back to us.

3. We'll send you an agreement to finalize it. We also add your screening to our tour page.

4. See you on the tour!
